The Solidarity project aims at strengthening the active participation of a diverse set of citizens within 7 European countries – Belgium, France, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia – where participative and intercultural debates will be organised on the different challenges and public policies at the agenda of the EU that promote solidarity (integration of youth in the future of the EU, enlargement of the EU notably towards the Balkan countries, common asylum and migration policy ).

This project will be translated into different types of activities such as research, public debates, cultural activities, cyberseminars. It will also directly involve citizens belonging to a various set of social groups such as young people, underprivileged individuals, refugees etc., to include groups of usually underrepresented citizens, through various innovative and participative working methods.

As a result, a methodology guide for replication as well as a Manifesto summarising the concrete proposals for reinforcing solidarity in Europe will be co-drafted with the partners. A communication and media campaign will also be enforced, and a Final conference will be organised to initiate a direct dialogue with representatives from the European institutions. This will allow the project to have a concrete impact in 15 countries of the EU, as well as candidate countries.

The expected outcomes are: a genuinely European impact obtained thanks to the active participation of numerous organisations, direct or indirect participants, underrepresented and underprivileged individuals from 7 different countries, to the elaboration of a political agenda for the EU which will allow the reinforcement and integration of a stronger Europe, with a stronger solidarity in facing the main challenges for the future of the European youth and the neighbouring countries.
