Role of social dialogue in European economic and social governance

The EU has already been through four cycles of the European Semester process of economic governance. Social partners have a key role to play in conceiving and implementing those recommendations. Yet, today there is a shared diagnosis that the role of the social partners in the EU economic governance is under-developed in terms of ownership and partnership.
